Two makes it a streak. Finally.
The U.S. manufacturing industry, a key driver of the U.S. economy, grew for the second consecutive month in February. Growth has been a struggle, but things are improving–slowly.
The Institute for Supply Management’s Purchasing Managers Index, or PMI, came in at a reading of 50.3 for February, down from 50.9 for January. Economists surveyed by FactSet expected a reading of 50.5, so things were a little weaker than expected.
